This former nerdcore rapper, mc chris, cut his ties from the genre of nerdcore not too recently, to focus more on proving that he, himself, was a legit and serious artist... not literally a gimmick. You may have hear him on several internet videos, spanning through his most popular "fette's vette" and "nrrrd grrrl," his most recent internet breakthrough. He has been involved in so many upcomings from Willliams Street. Being the voice of MC Pee Pants from "Aqua Teen Hunger Force," and Hesh from "Sealab 2021." He also notably voice in cameos for many different productions, and also was a staff member working with Matt Maiellaro and Dave Willis, the creators of the show.
He started with mc chris and the lee majors, his project that started his reign of the hip-hop, Brooklyn scene. With his debut "Life's a Bitch, and I'm Her Pimp" [free on his website], he already produced a crowd favorite, and geek fandom favorite, "Fette's Vette." He then, two years later, released his record "Knowing is Half the Hassle", which, originally, was single handedly made by mc with regular CD-Rs. His next album "Dungeon Master of Ceremonies," broke all expectations of an mc album, and featured cleaner, more precise editing, and mixing.
His next, upcoming record "mc chris is dead," seems to redefine mc as an artist, and a more mature version of where he has been in the past. Many songs have already been released to his myspace page in the past, spanning from "mc chris is dead" to "falynn."
Expect to see mc on his next appearance on the Vans Warped Tour in the summer of 2008.
